Six Months Old

Time is really flying! Coy and I were just talking about how excited we are to experience certain things with Anna - birthdays, visiting the zoo and museums, playing sports, family vacations - but at the same time we're trying to enjoy and memorize every sweet little giggle, dimple, cuddle, and developmental milestone. For now Anna is laughing, squealing, playing with and chewing on her toes, rolling over a lot, eating a lot, babbling, looking at books, and sitting by herself (for a little bit at a time). She is really frustrated about not being able to crawl yet. I'm sure its only a matter of time before she's mobile. Yikes!

Anna had her six month check-up today (you can see the band aids on her legs from her shots in the above picture). She is growing quickly - weighing 16lbs, 12oz (70th percentile) and measuring 27 inches long (90th percentile). The doctor said she's the size of an average eleven month old. Um, yeah. So, we're looking good for sports!
